The last week has been amazing! So many people from all over the country have asked for Luv or sent Luv notes. One family from as far away as the Netherlands even wrote to us. The youngest person that needed Luv was just a baby and others asked for notes for their grandmas. We think it’s pretty special that no matter where people are from or how old they are, everyone can use kind words and encouragement. People need Luv so much that we have had to order a second pack of cards to send notes to all of the friends who need one. We are so thankful for all of the nice people who have written to us and shared this site with others.
Later this week, we will post some of our favorite Luv notes sent to us. For today, here are just a few of the people who have asked for Luv so far. We hope our card brings them a smile:
“I would love for you to send a card to my grandmother. My grandfather passed away just over a year ago, and today would have been his birthday. They were married over 30 years and she has really missed him this past year. Thank you!”
“Abby and Maddie’s daddy is deployed right now and sometimes they get sad. Was there something that helped you when your daddy was gone?”
“Hello Liam, What awesome thing you’re doing! I’m sure many will be blessed by your words of encouragement. Thank you for inspiring me to share some love with others . This reminded me of a movie I saw a few weeks ago- The Letter Writer. It’s so important to encourage one another. My daughter has been having a few issues with friends. They speak to her in an unkind manner sometimes or leave her out of games . She struggles with speaking up. It would be nice for her to get a card . I’m sure it would make her smile. God bless. Best regards, Marla and Marissa (7 yrs old) So. California”
” I could use a love note because we have sold our house and we are living in a condo until our new house gets ready, and I am very sad because I feel misplaced in all of this. I know things will get better and that this is only temporary, but I still feel lonely and sad. Liam, I am so proud of you, you are such an awesome young man, and God has filled your heart with lots of love for others. Thank you for caring. Love, Aunt Rena”
